Welcome to Rose Country Cutting Horse Association! We hold monthly cutting horse competitions in the East Texas area. Saddle your horse and lets see what he can do! Cutting Horse competitions have become a very popular sport. You will get lots of great tips and meet plenty of new friends. Our president is Jim Petty and secretary is Ellen Wheeler.

If you are riding ine the fresh cattle classes, please call the secretary so we will know how many cattle you need.   Our last show was in July and it was hot so we decided not to have August because of the heat. So we are looking forward to seeing you all.
      If you haven’t heard, the ground is excellent at the Whippo Arena. Also, Mr. Whippo's cooking. Things like cattle and whether your horse has a good run, we will see!

NCHA NEW RULE 2007 EVERY ONE MUST PRODUCE A COPY OF YOUR HORSE’ S PAPERS ALONG WITH A COPY OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD WHEN YOU ENTER YOUR HORSE IN A CLASS AT A NCHA APPROVED SHOW. This means both horse, owner, and rider. So please bring copies with you.

We hold a complete schedule of events including Limited Age classes-4 yr. old Open and Non-Pro and 5/6 yr. old Open and Non-Pro, OPEN, NON-PRO,$10,000 Novice Horse, $20,000 Non-Pro, Youth Medal, $10,000 N.H. NON-PRO, $50,000 Amatuer, $3,000 Novice Horse, $10,000 Amatuer, $2,000 Limited Rider and $1,000 Novice Horse.
